体育是高校重要的公共通识教育课程，既担负着向学生传授体育基本理论知识、提高学生运动技能和身体素质的任务，同时又必须根据高校培养目标加强体育教育与思政教育的融合。要通过体育课程教学、阳光体育运动、校内外体育竞赛等方式培养学生优良思想品德，塑造学生健全人格。

Physical education is an important public general education curriculum in colleges and universities. It not only shoulders the task of imparting basic theories and knowledge of physical education to students,improving students' sports skills and physical quality, but also must strengthens the integration of physical education and ideological and political education according to the training objectives of colleges and universities. It is necessary to cultivate students' fine ideology and moral character and shape students' sound personality through physical education course teaching, sunshine sports and sports competitions in and out of school.
